Along with other students you can now form your own career network. This is a network of students who are thinking about the same career opportunities and who wish to focus their networking and career activities together.

What do you do in a career network?

In the career network you decide on the frequency of your meetings yourself. It might be once a month or every week. You can use a career network in the same way you use your study group - for example to go through job advertisements, discuss your academic qualifications, give feedback on each other's CV's etc. The Career Kick-Starter also offers to support and facilitate your career network. We can book meeting rooms for you or facilitate your meetings. For example we can offer you collective career guidance or prepare some exercises for you. We can also help arrange activities which are relevant for your specific network. For instance company visits, a lecture, a mentor and much more.

How do I enter a career network?

If you have already formed a network and you want the Career Kick-Starter to help you get started, you can contact the project manager: jl@remove-this.hum.au.dk. You are also welcome to contact the project manager if you want to be in a career network but haven't found other students to form a network with.

What is a career network about?

You can form a career network on all kinds of job and career themes which you find interesting. It might for example be "human resources", "communication", "international companies", "project managing" and so on.
