Tuition Fees for Non-EU/EEA Students

Tuition Fee

Non-EU/EEA applicants are required to pay tuition fees.

Annual tuition fees for students enrolling in bachelor and master's programmes at the University of Aarhus from September 2006:

  • Programmes at the Faculty of Humanities: EUR 9,100 a year (60 ECTS)

The tuition fee is payable by biannual instalments.

Books and course materials are not included in the tuition fee.

The tuition fee applies to regular students and guest students only - and not students on a bilateral exchange programme and students with a permanent residence permit.

Scholarships

The University of Aarhus administers a few scholarships for students enrolled in an MA programme. The scholarship includes a tuition fee waiver and living costs of approximately 7,100 DKK per month for the duration of the MA programme (2 years). Students cannot apply for a scholarship, but can be nominated for one. Only non EU/EEA students can receive a scholarship.

Stipends for Erasmus Mundus Master's Programmes

Special stipends are available for non-EU/EEA students applying for an Erasmus Mundus Master .

Students accepted to the Erasmus Mundus Master in Journalism and Media within Globalisation: the European Perspective receive a stipend of 42,000 Euro.

Students accepted to the Erasmus Mundus Master in Media, Communiation and Cultural Studies receive a stipend of  approximately 32,000 Euro.
