Student organisations
A number of political and recreational student organisations exist on campus.
Since 1932 the Student Council (Danish website) has worked to improve conditions for students. The organisation has representatives on the university board, academy councils, and boards of studies among others. The Student Council organises study fairs, courses, concerts etc.
At the Faculty level, the equivalent student body is the Student Council of the Faculty of Humanities, known as Humrådet (Danish website). Humrådet provides a student forum for information exchange on education policy and seeks to influence Faculty policy through its representation on the Academy Council. In addition to policy issues, Humrådet organises lectures, parties etc.
Recreational societies include sports, movies, choir, tv and radio among others.
